Led by world-renowned Grand Master Hassan Iskandar PhD OAM, Pinnacle Martial Arts Sydney is guided by one of the highest-ranked Taekwondo GM Masters in the world, holding the prestigious 9th Dan Kukkiwon certification.

Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters in Korea, awards the most globally recognised and respected Black Belt Dan certifications in Taekwondo and Martial Arts.

Grand Master Hassan Iskandar PhD OAM brings more than 50 years of elite Martial Arts experience across multiple disciplines and is recognised as one of the most respected and influential Martial Arts leaders in Australia and internationally. He has served as President of Taekwondo Australia, a World Taekwondo Council Member, and an inductee into the official World Taekwondo Hall of Fame, reflecting a lifetime dedicated to excellence, leadership, and the advancement of Martial Arts worldwide.

Honoured with the Order of Australia Medal (OAM), the Australian Sports Medal, and the Tasmanian Star of Sport Award, Grand Master Hassan Iskandar has developed countless local, state, national, international, and continental medallists, including Australian Taekwondo representatives on junior and senior national teams.

  • 1998 – Hanmadang Gold medallist in free style breaking

International Master Instructor Mirna Iskandar Madrajat – 7th Degree Black Belt

With over 35 years of martial arts excellence, International Master Instructor Mirna Madrajat is recognised as one of Australia’s most respected and accomplished Taekwondo educators.

Holding the prestigious rank of 7th Degree Black Belt, Master Mirna began training at just three years of age and has dedicated her life to inspiring, educating, and empowering others through martial arts.

A highly accomplished competitor, Master Mirna has represented her art at state, national, and international levels. Her achievements include winning Gold at the 2003 NSW State Championships and International Gold at the 2004 Lebanese International, demonstrating exceptional skill, discipline, and technical mastery.

However, Master Mirna’s greatest achievements extend far beyond medals and championships.

Master Mirna is renowned for her extraordinary ability to transform shy, withdrawn, and uncertain children into confident, disciplined, and successful young leaders. Her patient, caring, and highly personalised teaching approach has positively impacted the lives of thousands of children and families throughout Sydney.

As a mother, mentor, and educator, she specialises in developing children’s confidence, focus, resilience, respect, self-discipline, leadership, and self-belief through TaekwondoMartial Arts Self-Defence, and Martial Arts Fitness programs.

Master Mirna’s work with children experiencing ADHD, ADD, autism, anxiety, confidence challenges, and social development difficulties is truly inspiring. Many students who began their journey struggling with focus, confidence, anxiety, or social interaction have flourished under her guidance, with some progressing to become Australian Taekwondo Champions and role models within their communities.

Her ability to connect with children of all abilities and backgrounds has earned her the admiration of parents, educators, and health professionals alike.

Grand Master Tony Ibrahim

Grand Master Tony is one of our Senior Instructors with 45 years of Taekwondo Martial Arts training. Grand Master Tony is an 8th Degree Black Black.

Grand Master Tony specialises conditioning, weight loss and nutrition while training in Taekwondo.

Grand Master Tony won the state titles and National title numerous times and even going undefeated for many years.
